At time stamp 25:35 you say, “We don’t have to speculate about permanent FSD transfers anymore, because Elon agressively shot that down.” I have not been able to find confirmation of this statement anywhere. If this is true, it would be foolish for me to upgrade my EAP to FSD if I can’t transfer then it to my next Tesla. Where can I find confirmation this this is in fact Tesla’s position of not being able to transfer FSD to a new Tesla. I’d hate having to lose EAP because Tesla will no longer offer that option.

Carp thought this would talk about truths, this is same old lies, without redundancy for secondary sensors or more cams it will always need supervision. Cruze and waymo may not be scalable but they work because of the number of sensors and redundant systems. So now your basically saying Tesla will compete with Uber & lift, but for a brand exclusively, do you think that's scalable unless all cars are Tesla only

I have mixed feelings about the current focuses of Tesla on AI. AI driving still needs to iron out a lot of edge cases. What about the night, fog, rain or snow situations? real unsupervised full self driving is probably at least another 2 years away. It could however be used sooner as a supervised system. Is the ambition to compete with Hubber or cab drivers? quite underwhelming Tesla 4680 battery are ramping slowly and underperforming compared to CATL and missing the shift to L(M)FP. Good thing they also use CATL and BYD packs, but when will the added value of 4680 come? Storage business is progressing quietly Solar, is it event still around? Tesla still makes very good cars. Next products are 1-2 years away and until then it will be business as usual I think.

Tesla/SpaceX and Musk will be in some serious trouble within 3 to 5 years. Tesla will be bought out by its opposition. SpaceX will have broken its contract with NASA and the USA government. I have no idea how they will reclaim any of the funds back that were granted to Musk. Maybe they will end up with Starlink as collateral. Musk will go down in history as the man who single handedly lost more wealth than any other person in history.

This video is great, but I don’t believe that the thumbnail and title do it justice. I would test different thumbnails and titles to make sure which one gets the most clicks. This one doesn’t seem good to me. By the way, I really love everything you’re doing.

People buy his junk and make him rich. Then they make videos hoping he'll see them and give them a call. Elon isn't going to be your friend. Especially if you're his dupe.

I found the earnings announcement encouraging. I concluded quite awhile ago that if I viewed Tesla as a car company then it's P/E ratio had already factored in many years of auto growth. So investing elsewhere would make sense. So to stay invested in Tesla only made sense if I thought the loftier goals like full self driving, robo taxi and Optimus were likely to succeed. And given Elon's success at doing things nobody else has done I'm sticking with the company. But my commitment is to Elon's leadership, not to Tesla. As I believe he brings the "magic sauce" that makes the impossible into the merely late. What scares me is not a down quarter, it's that Elon is concerned about not owning enough of the company to keep control. Tesla has gone on all in on self driving, spending huge amounts of money on AI compute recently, rather than building factories. I'm fine with this prioritization. As it's doing "impossible" things like self driving that has made Elon one of the most successful business people around. I'm willing to risk my personal investments that Elon and Tesla will be successful with self driving. Will the world switch to hailing robo-taxis? I'm doubtful. But owning a car they didn't have to drive? That's a huge win. Who the heck wouldn't want one to two hours a day during their commute to do other things at a reasonable cost?

I am down 22%, don't plan on selling even 1 share in the next 2-3 years.
